I love connecting with the LA youth through tutoring, and there is nothing quite like watching a student finally getting a hang of a concept.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRECIOUS MEMORY FROM SCOPE?

Last year, I witnessed my mentee start off struggling with double-digit addition, and by the end of the year, she was flying through the triple-digits like it was nothing. It was amazing. I also taught her to play chess, and she formed a little chess club with her friends, which was so sweet.
