WHY DID YOU BECOME A PART OF SCOPE?
As a freshman, I was overwhelmed by the amount of organizations at UCLA and how each one seemed to nearly be the same thing. When I came across SCOPE, I was immediately interested in the diverse opportunities it had to offer. The ability to directly work with patients and families as well as the opportunity to mentor and educate children seemed like the perfect fit. The more involved I became in SCOPE, the more I grew to love and value how much this organization had to offer. Nothing else on campus is as unique, as diverse, and as versatile as SCOPE, and I'm so glad to be a part of it!
WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO LEAD YOUR SPECIFIC PROGRAM?
I began initally as a PHA volunteer and later helped with SCOPE's media and public relations. During my time in SCOPE, I knew it had a lot of potential to grow and become one of the best organizations on campus. I know with the collective efforts of everyone in the organization, we will truly impact many lives and empower the city of Los Angeles!
I recently got a speeding ticket in Iceland.
FUTURE GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS
I hope to one day become a physician and travel the world to learn, to teach, and to help people of all kinds.
